Your family-run hotel in Heidelberg's old town
The Goldene Rose sits in St.-Anna-Gasse, right in the middle of Heidelberg's old town. The castle, the Old Bridge, the Philosophers' Walk and the main street are all within walking distance — you will not need a car here.
The house looks back on more than a hundred years of tradition and is family-run today. In 2022 and 2023 we renovated it from the ground up: 32 rooms in a building that has kept its history.
Contemporary furnishings, attentive service and always peace, cosiness and the special old-town flair make it easy to relax with us.

Renovated from 2022 to 2023, character preserved
In 2022 and 2023 the Goldene Rose was comprehensively renovated and modernised. Since 2023 we have been welcoming guests back into our traditional house.
All premium rooms and all double rooms are air-conditioned; premium rooms also have a safe and coffee machine. Every room has free Wi-Fi and digital cable TV.

Yes. Our suite offers around 44 square metres with a 200 cm wide double bed and two sofa beds. For parents with one child, the premium comfort double room with its separate living and sleeping area is also suitable.
